Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a unique old-world charm and a great location, making it easy to explore the town. I really appreciated the friendly staff and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, but the rooms and dining experience could use some improvements. Overall, I felt the facilities were somewhat dated which took away from the experience.
I had a memorable stay at the Mendocino Hotel that evoked a sense of nostalgia. The team was genuinely accommodating, and while the rooms were clean and charmingly rustic, there are some areas that could use updates. Unfortunately, I found the dining options quite limited due to the current circumstances. Nevertheless, the hotel's atmosphere and history made up for some shortcomings, making it a unique retreat in Mendocino.
My recent stay was enjoyable, with breathtaking ocean views and a cozy atmosphere, but the room lacked charm and the hotel overall showed signs of needing renovation. The service was decent, but some amenities could be improved for a more pleasant experience. While the dining experience didn't meet my expectations, the location was perfect for exploring the quaint town of Mendocino.
I had a bit of a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Mendocino, making it easy to explore the area. While I appreciated the unique vintage charm, some aspects felt quite outdated and not well-maintained. Also, the shared bathroom situation was a drawback for my comfort. Overall, the experience was decent for a spontaneous visit, but I had higher expectations.
This hotel has a charming old-world feel, but it really needs some updates to match modern expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful during our stay, which made a big difference. However, the lack of amenities and uncomfortable dining experience left something to be desired, especially considering the price. Overall, it has its moments but might not be the best choice for everyone.
